Jimmy Wayne Gass

Jimmy Wayne Gass, 68, of 22 First Street, Inman, SC, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023 at his residence.

Jimmy was born in Shreveport, LA, on September 6, 1954 a son of the late Orene Sims Gass and James Gass. He was the husband of Mary (Smalley) Gass.

He was retired from J. P. Carlton and was a member of Hope Church in Spartanburg, SC.

In addition to his wife, Jimmy is survived by two daughters, Jayline Crump, Starr Foster, four sons, Jason Gass, Brad Gass, Chad Burnett, Shane Page, three sisters, Shirley Gass, Brenda Ivey, Glenda Ivey, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren

He served in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam War. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced on this site.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 154 Mile Stone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
