Jimmy Horace Barnes

Jimmy Horace Barnes passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022 after a long illness in the home of his son, Brad Barnes.  

He was born September 29, 1940 in Chadbourn, NC and was the widowed husband of Shirley J. Barnes of Holdens Beach, NC.  

His hobbies included sports, gardening and collecting memorabilia and antiques.

He is survived by his sister, Miriam Bullard and her husband Wayne Bullard of Rocky Mount, NC, his daughter, Carolynn Cullen and her husband Tom Cullen of Chesnee, SC and his two sons, Tony Barnes and his wife Gina Barnes of Belews Creek, NC and Brad Barnes and his wife Elissa Barnes of Taylors, SC.

He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 3 nieces and 2 nephews.  

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC with Rev. Mitch Crow officiating.  Burial will follow at Shiloh Memorial Cemetery in Inman, SC.
