Jewell Lewis Callia, 95, of 112 Elberta Street died Wednesday, March 31st, 2010 at Camp Care Nursing Home.
Mrs. Callia was born in Anderson, S C on May 2, 1914, the daughter of the late Ruben Presley and Sarah Pauline Smith Lewis. She was the widow of Willie M. Callia and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
She is survived by four sisters, Louise Bagwell and Jennie Ruth Maxwell of Inman, Lake Canning of Fullerton, CA, Juanita Cromer of Placentia, CA. and one grandson, William "Bill" Callia of Costa Rica. She was predeceased by a son, Donald A. Callia and a brother Ruben P. Lewis, Jr
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 2nd, with Rev. Bill Bynum officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman. The family will be at 112 Elberta St., Inman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church 690 Park Rd Inman, SC 29349.
