Jessie Bishop

Thank you, God, for my life, your love and for taking me home on Saturday, June 4, 2022.  Born June 7, 1920, daughter of the late R. L. and Lucille Richey.
Predeceased by husband, Horace (Champ) Bishop.
Surviving are four children:  Bob Bishop (Judy), Del Rio, Texas, Ann Barnes, David Bishop and Rick Bishop (Julie), Inman.
Four grandchildren:  Laura Rogers (Shannon), Parker, Texas, James Bishop (Danett), San Diego, CA, David Bishop, Inman and Julieta Phillips, Campobello.
Six Great Grandchildren: Abigale and AJ Rogers, Tulsa, OK, Tristan Bishop, San Diego, CA, Isaac Bishop, Inman, and Austin and Kaylen Phillips, Campobello.
Life on a farm with a sweet family has been interesting and very enjoyable.
Working and retiring in 1977 from Inman Duke Power, allowed me to get to
know almost everyone in the small, friendly town of Inman.  Inman First Baptist
Church has been a wonderful place to worship and serve the Lord as a Deacon, at Bible School, Awanas, as a Sunday School Teacher for many years for children and adults, the WMU, the Count Committee and the Greeting Committee.
It would be an honor if you would celebrate my life by doing a good deed for someone in lieu of any service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to:  Inman First Baptist Church, 14 N. Howard Street, Inman, SC 29349.  The family is at the home.
