Jerry Roger Rhymer

Inman, SC-- Jerry Roger Rhymer, 50, of 351 Hyder Road passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Spartanburg , SC on December 28, 1965, a son of Roy Dean Rhymer, Sr. of Mayo, SC and Jessie (Stewart) Bellew and her husband Schuyler Owens of Gulf Port, MS and was the husband of Sherry (Bailey) Rhymer. Jerry worked as a long haul truck driver, served in the U.S. Army and was of the Baptist faith. He is also survived by two daughters, Nicole McGraw and her husband Drew of Inman and Cheyenne Follman and her husband Bobby of Duncan; one son, Jarred Rhymer of Lyman; two step-daughters, Haley Wofford and Neely Wofford; one sister, Christel Owens of Spartanburg; four brothers, Roy Dean Rhymer, Jr. of Spartanburg, James Nathaniel Rhymer of Greer, Stephen Lee Bellew of Greenville and Shawn Lane Bellew of Gulf Port, MS; four grandchildren, Kaytlin Follman, Melanie Follman, Zeilly McGraw and Andre Pogarelov; one aunt, Marvitta Brown and three uncles, Billy Stewart of Campobello, Marion Stewart of Clarksville, TN and Donny Stewart of Cleveland, TN. Jerry had very strong love for his heritage and for gardening.
