 Jerry Marsh  Rainey, 80, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Rosecrest Retirement Community, Inman. 

Jerry was born in Columbus , Ohio on November 26, 1941, a son of the late Dorothy Katherine (Bickner) and John Andrews Rainey. He was the widower of Arlene Fill Rainey. Survivors include, his nieces and nephews, Mary Christine and Rob Fill, Michelle and her companion Tom Richard, Ron and Christine Gerdes and Family, Joe Fill and his wife Gwen and their children, Alexandra and Samantha, Jerry Fill and his wife Julie, Mike Brake, Scott Brake, and great nephew Paul Bahen and his wife Courtney.

He was retired as an engineer at General Electric Company, and served in the U.S. Army.
