Jerry Lee Mitchem, 75, of Calley Drive Inman, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Jerry was born in Inman on February 10, 1943, a son of the late Margie Reid Mitchem and Boyd Lee Mitchem and he was the husband of Joyce Ann Suddeth Mitchem.
Jerry served in Korea with the US Army and was a member of the American Legion. He worked in the used car business most of his life.
In addition to his wife, Jerry is also survived by three sisters, Norma, wife of Bobby Barron, of Inman; Linda Spake, of Easley; Sherry, wife of Roger Bishop, of Chesnee; and a brother in law, Allen Suddeth of Campobello. He was predeceased by two brothers, Ronnie and Roger Mitchem.
Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, November 16th at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens in Wellford with Rev. Scott Scrimpsher officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.
