Jerry Wayne Horton

Inman, SC---Jerry Wayne Horton, 73, of 76 Blackstock Rd passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Born in Spartanburg County on December 12, 1941, he was a son of the late Ralph W. and Margaret Ruth (Horne) Horton and was the husband of the late Catherine "Cathy" (Hensley) Horton. Wayne served in the National Guard and retired from Springs Industries after 45 years as Lab Technician. He is survived by two brothers, Jervy Horton and his wife Linda of Inman, SC and Bobby Horton of Wellford, SC and two nephews, Chad Horton and Mark Horton both of Inman, SC. A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 27, 2015 with Rev. Gary Hensley officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lyman Wesleyan Church, 320 Holly Springs Road Lyman, SC 29365.
