Jerry Dewayne Abernathy

Inman, SC--Mr. Jerry Dewayne Abernathy, 44, of 160 Skinner Road passed away on Saturday, January 22nd, 2011.
Born in Polk County, NC on April 19, 1966, he was the son of the late Billy James Abernathy and Betty Jane (Lee) Abernathy who survives him of Inman.
Jerry was a wonderful father, son and brother and beloved friend to many. He loved to entertain everyone and enjoyed making them laugh. He worked as a painter and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Molly Lynn Abernathy, Jennifer Jane Abernathy and Jason Dewayne Abernathy; two brothers, Joe Abernathy and James Abernathy; his granddaughter, Brylee Lavada Ridings and his nieces and nephews, Phillip Kyle Abernathy, Amanda Nicole Abernathy, Tyler James Abernathy and Lynn White.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 24th from 6-7PM at Seawright Funeral Home. A Celebration of his life will be held immediately following the visitation at 7:00PM with Rev. Donnan Lawson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to mailed to Betty Jane Abernathy for the care of his children, 160 Skinner Road Inman, SC 29349.
