Jennifer Coleman Fortner, 43, of 5A Street, Inman, SC, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at St Francis Hospital in Greenville, SC surrounded by her family and friends. Jennifer was born in Spartanburg, SC on April 29, 1974, a daughter of Gloria (Towery) Coleman and Keith Coleman, of Lyman. She worked as a school teacher at E.P. Todd Elementary School in Spartanburg and was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church in Inman. In addition to her parents, Jennifer is survived by a daughter, Josie Fortner, of the home, a son, Jordan Fortner, of the home, a brother, Josh Coleman (Amber), of Lyman, paternal grandmother, Geneva Daugherty Coleman of Inman, nephew, Drew Coleman of Landrum, along with aunts, uncles and cousins and her best friend Lori Coates of Boiling Springs and many more devoted and supportive friends. The family is at the home and will receive friends Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 15th at 3:00 PM at Holston Creek Baptist Church in Inman with Dr. Reggie Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to NETRF, 321 Columbus Ave, Suite 5R, Boston, MA 02116. The family wishes to thank the staff of St. Francis Cancer Center for their loving care for Jennifer.
