Jeffery Scott "Bar" Melton, 48, of 630 Hillside Drive, Inman, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014 at his residence. Jeffery was born in Spartanburg on April 26, 1966, a son of Dupree and Barbara Jackson Melton, of Inman. Jeffery was employed at Melton Fleet Leasing and attended Fellowship Baptist Church, Campobello. He was a member of Lone Oak Masonic Lodge #372 and a Shriner. In addition to his parents, he is survived by Linda Faye Eubanks; two daughters, Jessica A. Melton and Britney A. Eubanks all of the home; two brothers, Randy Melton, of Inman, and Wayne"Cootie" Melton and his wife Karen, of Wellford. He was predeceased by a brother Jason Melton. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 6 - 8pm at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday , October 15, 2014, at 3:00pm at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, conducted by Rev. Jeremy McCarver and Rev. Ansel Norris. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In addition to flowers memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital 950 Faris Rd. Greenville, SC 29605-4277.
