Jeffery Alan Briscoe, Sr., 57, of 114 Dulaine Drive, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017, at his residence Jeffery was born in Sacramento, California on April 17, 1960, a son of Patricia M. Shanks Briscoe and the late James M. Briscoe. Jeffery was a graduate of the Culinary Institute in Hyde Park, New York, an employee at Michelin and a member of Morningside Baptist Church in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Mr. Briscoe is survived by his mother, Patricia M. Shanks Briscoe, of Columbus, Ohio; four daughters, Kristina L. Briscoe, of Texas; Kathlenia N. Scruggs, of Cowpens, South Carolina; Cassandra M. Briscoe, and Kimberly G. Briscoe, both of Clear Lake, Iowa; four sons, Chad M. Rowen, Matthew J. Briscoe, Collin N. Deel and Justin M. Briscoe all of Inman, South Carolina; a sister, Dianne L. May, of Hilliard, Ohio, and ten grandchildren. In addition to his father, Jeffery was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Alan Briscoe, Jr.
A memorial service will be held, 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev Mark Foster and Rev. Tony Shaw. The family is at the residence.
