Mrs. Jeanean Andrews Brooks, 57, of 102 Wanda Ann Lane passed away Monday, May 28th, 2007 at her residence.
Jeanean was born in Spartanburg, S. C. on August 19, 1949 and was the daughter of Ray and Catherine (Thompson) Andrews of Inman. She was the wife of Danny Brooks and was a member of the Inman Church of God of Prophecy and a homemaker. She was a member of the Andrews Singers for over thirty-years.
She is also survived by two daughters: Sonya Merritt of Inman, Michelle Ellis of Boiling Springs, S. C. one son: Jason Brooks of Spartanburg, two sisters: Kelly Parker and Renee Smith both of Inman, four grandchildren: Ashley Nichole Merritt, Katherine Danielle Merritt, Logan Quinn Brooks and Haylee Paige Ellis. She was pre-deceased by one sister Patricia Ann Andrews and one great grandchild Braylon Merritt.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P. M. Friday, June 1, 2007 at the Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Scott Moore. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Seawright Funeral Home.
