JC Loftis, 83, of 375 Monroe Bruce Farm Rd. passed away Tuesday, January 17th, 2017 at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, SC. Mr. Loftis was born in Inman, S.C. on January 11, 1934, a son of the late Boyce Lee and Sallie Jane Crocker Loftis. He was the beloved husband of Sylvia (Mayfield) Loftis and was a member of the Inman First Free Will Baptist Church. He had retired from textiles.
Surviving in addition to his wife Sylvia is a son, Scott Loftis of Campobello, SC, a daughter, Cynthia Ann Collins and her husband Dwayne of Inman, SC, three brothers, Dewey Loftis and his wife Ruth of Inman, John Loftis of Inman, Carol Loftis of Campobello, and a sister, Marie Loftis of Campobello. There is one granddaughter, Anna Collins and a great grandson, Jacob Salinas. JC was predeceased by two brothers, Earl and Donald Loftis.
Graveside services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC, at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 20th, 2017 with Rev. Sean Fortner officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside. The family will be at their respective homes.
