Mr. J. B. Johnson, Jr., 80, of 261 Gramling School Road, Inman passed away Sunday, November 4th, 2007 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Johnson was born in Inman, S.C. on October 12, 1927, the son of the late John Ben and Exxie Prewette Johnson.

He was the husband of Era Mae Skinner Johnson and a retired realtor.

Survivors include one sister: Thelma Cothran of Spartanburg, one brother: Ray C. Johnson of Spartanburg, a brother-in-law: Randall Bishop of Inman, his special children: Lisa and Travis Fowler and their son Biggs, Jonathan and Kim Ludwig, nieces and nephews: Donna and Terry Darnell, Diane and Steve Klinetop, Barbra Johnson, Greg and Leslie Cothran, Rodney and Pam Cothran, and Kenneth Johnson. Mr. Johnson was predeceased by two children: Margaret and David Johnson and a sister: Aileen Bishop.
He was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church where he was a former deacon and a member of the Men of Hope Sunday School Class.

He served in the U.S. Navy in WW II.

Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 6th, with Rev. Reggie Parker and Rev. Donnan Lawson officiating.

Mausoleum Encryptment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC.

The family is at the home and will receive friends Monday 6-8 PM. at Seawright Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Holston Creek Baptist Church Bus Fund, 311 Holston Creek Church Rd., Inman, SC 29349.
