Janice Hawkins

Janice Hawkins, 87, of Northgate Circle in Boiling Springs, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025 at her residence.

Janice was born in Spartanburg on June 6, 1938, a daughter of the late Pauline Plumley Jackson and James Brock "Stonewall" Jackson. She was the widow of the late James Earl Hawkins.

She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Her survivors include a son, Greg Burton (Catherine), of Columbia, three daughters, Lisa Burns (Joseph) of Boiling Springs, Earlene Hawkins of Boiling Springs, Pam Baker (Russell West) of Boiling Springs, a sister, Joyce Turner of Inman, six grandchildren, Amber Burton, Michael Burton, Jason West, Chelsea West, Justin Burton, Brittany Hall, one great granddaughter, Avi Murphy, and two step granddaughters, Stephanie Moore and Carrie Moore. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by a son, Michael Burton.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 30th at Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs. The family will receive friends at Good Shepherd Memorial Park from 12:00 noon until 1:00PM Tuesday.
