Elizabeth Jane Sizemore Ritz, 62, of 1543 Compton Bridge Road, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018, at her residence. Jane was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on September 25, 1955, a daughter of the late John E. Sizemore, Sr., and Clara Johnson Sizemore. She was a charter member of Rejoice Lutheran Church in Inman, South Carolina. Jane received her B.S. degree in education from USC Upstate, and her M.Ed. from Converse College.
Mrs. Ritz is survived by a daughter, Amanda R. Wilson and her husband, Steven of Inman, South Carolina; three sons Eric Ritz and his wife, Sonia of Inman, South Carolina; Jeremy Ritz and his wife, Brandy of Inman, South Carolina; Rob Ritz and his wife, Kimberly Collins of Charleston, South Carolina. Two brothers, John E. Sizemore, Jr. and his wife, Pat of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; David Sizemore, of Cherokee Springs, South Carolina. She is also survived by: eight grandchildren, Mason Ritz, Josie Roberts, Caleb Watson, and his wife, Erin; Natalie Ritz, Aaron Ritz, Johnson Wilson, Keilyn Wilson, Colin Wilson, and one aunt, Marjorie Wall of Columbia, South Carolina.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 15, 2018, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 16, 2018. Services will be conducted by Rev. Ed Stallworth, Rev. Steve Estrem, and Sheriff Chuck Wright.
Committal services will be private.
The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Sonia Ritz, 462 Gramling School Road, Inman, South Carolina 29349.
