James Albert Wooten Jr.

James Albert Wooten, Jr., 64, resident of Clinton, South Carolina,  passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022.

Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina,  on June 15, 1958, he was a son of the late James Albert Wooten, Sr. and Mary Louise Cogdill Wooten.

He worked as a long-haul truck driver for many years.  

He is survived by one son, James Albert Wooten, III and his wife Stormy; one brother, Jackie Wooten; four grandchildren, Elijah, Karabella, Blakely and Rhett; many nieces and nephews and his best friend, Darcy.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by one brother, Ronald Wooten.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 10:00 AM -10:45 AM at New Life Baptist Fellowship, 350 Old Furnace Road, Boiling Springs, South Carolina 29316.  A memorial service will follow in the church at 11:00 AM with Rev. Scott Miller officiating.
