James Gaines Wolfe

Inman, SC-- James Gaines Wolfe, 57, of 124 East Main Street passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015, at Greenvillle Memorial Hospital. Born in Spartanburg, SC on May 10, 1958, he was the son of the late Eugene Cantrell and Frances (Gaines) Wolfe. He was a member of Inman First Baptist Church. Gaines was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and retired from the South Carolina Employment & Labor Commission where he was over all of the state contracts for farm programs.

He is survived by a daughter, Casey Bradley (Chandler) of Cowpens, SC; a son, Clayton Wolfe of Boiling Springs, SC; a sister, Nancy (Jeannie) Simpson (Bob) of Enoree, SC; three grandchildren, Dawson Moon, Zoei Bradley and Keegan Bradley and two nieces, Mallory Simpson of Greenwood, SC and Maura Simpson of Enoree, SC and one nephew, Nolan Simpson of Enoree, SC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James W. Wolfe and Mr. and Mrs. Nolan Gaines.

Graveside services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 20, 2015 with Rev. Greg Hellams and Rev. Donald Shockley officiating. Following the service the family will be at the home of Arley Gibson, 15 Outter Dr., Inman, SC 29349 and all friends are welcome to visit.
