Campobello, SC ---James Steve Wofford, 55, of 9 Jennifer Lane Campobello died Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County in Forest City, NC. A native of Spartanburg, he was a son of the late James Chapman and Lucille Camp Wofford. He worked as an automotive body shop repairman. He is survived by a son, Craig Wofford of Campobello, a daughter, Kimberly Collins of Jacksonville, NC, a brother, Alan F. Wofford of Moore and a brother, Richard E. Wofford of Inman, and one granddaughter, Katelyn Collins of Jacksonville, NC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Janet Louise Collins. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM Seawright Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Bob Wofford. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to The Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011.
