James Walker Wilkins
Mr. James Walker Wilkins, 70, of 30 Clarion Drive, Etowah, NC passed away Sunday, January 6th, 2008 at Henry Medical Center in Stockbridge, GA.
Mr. Wilkins was born in Inman, S.C. on September 29, 1937, the son of the late Horace "Dick" and Annie Helen (Graham) Wilkins.
He is survived by one daughter: Kristi Lynn York of Portland, OR, three sisters: Sara Simkins of Greenville, SC, Margaret Phillips, Beth McCollum, both of Inman, two grandchildren: Haley Elisabeth York and Kendall Ellyce York. He was predeceased by four brothers: Fred, Johnny, Cecil and Bobby Wilkins.
He was employed with the FAA, was of the Baptist faith and served in the U.S. Air Force.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, January 9th, with Rev. Earl Hendrix officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hendersonville, NC.
The family will receive friends Wednesday 2-3 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
