James Lee Roddy

 James Lee (Jimmy) Roddy, 80, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

Born in Chesnee, South Carolina on September 25, 1943, he was a son of the late Mary Essie Cartee Roddy and Odus Lee Roddy and was the loving husband of Deborah "Debbie" (Lawrence) Roddy.

Jimmy was a member of North Spartanburg First Baptist Church and was truck driver with Roadway Express.

He is survived by his daughter, Greta Roddy Leonard and her husband Mark of Campobello, South Carolina; a son, James Emerson Roddy and his wife Michelle of Oswego, New York; one brother, Dean Roddy, of Cowpens, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Madelyn Leonard, Gregory Leonard, Barrett Leonard, Delaney Kelly, KayLeigh Roddy, three great, grandchildren, Wren Leonard, Ezra Roddy and Leon Kelly. He was predeceased by a sister, Lucille Roddy Kirby.
