James L. Mullins

Spartanburg, SC---James L. Mullins, 88,Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Lincoln, Kentucky on July 9, 1930 he was a son of the late Mr. James C. and Eula Brooks Mullins and was the husband of Barbara Mitchell Mullins having celebrated 58 years of marriage.

Mr. Mullins served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and retired as a printing press operator from Union Camp.

He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed all aspects of farming and loved watching his cattle.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by two sons, Terry Mullins and wife Theresa of Campobello, SC and Steven Mullins of the home; one brother, Kenneth W. Mullins of Illinois; one sister, Helen Rigsby and her husband Robert of Georgia; one granddaughter, Hannah Mullins of Greenwood, SC; two step grandchildren, Kenan Foxx and Rana Foxx both of Banner Elk, NC and numerous cousins.

He was predeceased by one brother, Harold Mullins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 4:00 PM in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sonny Bright officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post # 45. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
