Inman, SC---Mr. James R. "Ronnie" Moore, 65, of 831 Edwards Road went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 6th, 2009. Born in Inman on May 17, 1944, he was the son of the late Mary McAbee Moore and James Clinton Moore who survives him of Inman. He was the loving husband of Carolyn Bridges Moore having celebrated 42 years of marriage. He was employed as an electronic technician with Milliken Research for over 40 years, and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Ronnie was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and he and his wife taught the 5-year-old preschool class for 22 years. In addition to his wife and father he is survived by three daughters, Cindy McAbee and her husband Barry, Susan Moore and Linda McAbee and her husband Jason all of Inman; two sisters, Ruth Belue of Moore and Ellen Jackson and her husband Billy of Boiling Springs and three grandchildren, Hailey, Natalie and Grant McAbee. He was predeceased by an infant son, Andrew James Moore. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Lake Bowen Baptist Church at 11 :00 AM on Tuesday, December 8th, with Rev. Mark Williams and Rev. Johnny Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Bowen Baptist Church Cemetery.
