James "Jimmy" Humphries

James Howard "Jimmy" Humphries, 79, of 5 Clover Street, Inman, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg.
Jimmy was born in Spartanburg on November 29, 1939, a son of the late Esther Mae Lewis Humphries and Willie Howard Humphries and was the husband of Sandra H. Richie Humphries.
He was retired as a truck driver for Walmart and was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church in Inman.
In addition to his wife, Jimmy is survived by a son; Tony Darrell Humphries and his wife, Joy, of Spartanburg, two daughters; Tania Duckett and her husband, Bryan, of Simpsonville, Tammy DeShields and her husband, John, of Boiling Springs, a sister; Peggy Jean Strange and her husband, Nelson, of Campobello, one stepson; Huey Hayden and his wife, Karen of Campobello, a step daughter; Kellie Culbreth and her husband, Greg, of Campobello, four grandchildren; Jessica Conner, Gabrielle DeShields, Camdyn DeShields, Grayson DeShields, and two great grandchildren; Cashton Conner and Millie Claire Conner, three step grandchildren; Ryan Hayden and his wife, Brittney, Belle Culbreth, Hayden Culbreth, and a great grandson, Everette Hayden. In addition to his parents, Jimmy was predeceased by two brothers; Roy Michael Humphries and Roger Dale Humphries.
The family is at the home and will receive friends 2:00 until 3:00 Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Holly Springs Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Holly Springs Baptist Church, at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 14, 2019 with Dr. Tim Clark and Mr. Nelson Strange officiating.
Burial will follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
