James Farrell Hembree

James "Hotrod" Farrell Hembree, 87, of 1950 Compton Bridge Road, Inman, SC, passed away Friday, March 9th, at Magnolia Manor of Inman.

James was born in Spartanburg County, SC on January 25, 1925, a son of the late Lillie (Bailey) and Farrell Hembree. He was an avid fisherman and gardner.

He retired from Inman Mills and attended Inman First Freewill Baptist Church.

James is survived by
two daughters, Rena Stanley, of Macon, GA; Phyllis Geddens, of Macon, GA;
a son, Rocky Hembree, of Inman, 2 stepsons, Rick Henderson and wife Teresa of Cowpens and Danny Henderson of Arcadia.

James is also survived by a sister, Mildred Lisle, of Landrum.
two brothers, Frank Hembree, of Inman; John Hembree, of Inman; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great, great granddaughter.

Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Spartanburg, SC, at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 13th, with Rev Mark Cannon officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
