Mr. Roscoe James "Toby" Deyoung, 77, of 10 D Street Inman died Sunday, December 12th, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Deyoung was born in Greer on April 1, 1933, the son of the late John H. and Ruby Opal Phillips Deyoung and was the widower of Shirley Teague Deyoung. He is the last survivor of his immediate family and was survived by nieces and nephews.
He was a car salesman and was a Baptist. He was a member of Inman Masonic Lodge # 201 and a member of the Hejaz Shrine.
He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Korean War.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Wednesday, December 15, 2010 12noon until 1:OOpm at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday at Seawright Funeral Home conducted by Dr. Tim Clark. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Mobile Meals, PO Box 461 Spartanburg, SC 29304.
