James David Brown

James David Brown, 82, of Greer, SC, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Greer Memorial Hospital.

David was born in Holly Springs, SC on September 16, 1942, a son of the late Anna Louise (McMakin) and James Berry Brown. He is survived by a brother, Joe Brown and his wife Susan, a sister Linda Ford and her husband Jerry. He was predeceased by his niece, Lisa Ford Allman.

David was a member of Little Mountain Baptist.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 1:00 until 1:45 PM at Little Mountain Baptist Church in Wellford, SC. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jim McMakin officiating. Burial will be in Little Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.
