James Alan Countryman

James Alan Countryman, 87, of Inman, SC, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at his residence. James was born in Somerset, PA on October 9, 1938, a son of the late Grace (Griffith) and Telford Countryman. He is survived by his wife, Frances Kay (Mitchell) Countryman. Other survivors include, his daughter, Sharon Summey and her husband Steve; his son, Jeff Countryman and his wife Robin; two grandchildren, Sean Summey and his wife Irina and Stephanie Summey; one great grandson, Levi Summey. He was retired from IBM after 25 years of service.

Private services will be held at a later date.
