James Dupre Blackwell, 73, of 7256 Geddes St., passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at his home. Mr. Blackwell was born in Chesnee, SC on November 2, 1938 and was the son of the late Reedus Cordell and Grace Yvonna (Hensley) Blackwell. He was married to Carolyn D. Blackwell and had retired as an electrician with Frank J. Blakely Electrical Contractors. He was of the baptist faith.
Survivors include three sons, Terry Blackwell of Spartanburg, SC, Dale Blackwell of Boiling Springs, SC, Kevin Blackwell and his wife Sandy of Inman and four grandchildren, Tara, Clint, Lillie and Emily Blackwell.
