Jacquelyn Adair Chimene passed away January 11,2013, in Inman, South Carolina. Family members will conduct a private inurnment ceremony to remember her passing. Jacquelyn was born September 9, 1921, in Houston, Texas. She was an active wife and mother, and, later in life, an active community volunteer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Daisy Striebeck, and her sisters June and Dorothy, and by her husband, Carson L. Chimene. Jacquelyn is survived by her sister Billie Cathey, daughter Susan Hartley (North Carolina); son PaulChimene (Florida); son Mark Chimene (Arizona); granddaughter Melissa Prince (Florida); granddaughter Katherine Hartley (Tennessee); grandson Lucas Hartley (Colorado); great-granddaughter Haley Prince (Florida); and great-grandsons Owen Gray Hartley and Bennett Gray Hartley (Tennessee). The family wishes to extend gratitude to the nurses at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home of Inman, South Carolina; to Seawright's Funeral Home of Inman, South Carolina; and to the Carolina Hospice of the Foothills for their support of Jacqueline and local family.
