Iris Greene Miller, loving wife, mother, and mama entered into the loving arms of Jesus on July 6, 2012. She was born in Hot Springs, NC on July 4, 1926, a daughter of the late Lois Roberts and Ben Greene and was the widow of John Alfred Miller.
Surviving are her three daughters, Sandy M. Henson of Lake Bowen, Judy Lawson (Ernie) of Boiling Springs, Darla Thomas (Joe) of Almond, NC, grandchildren, Ernie (Pam) Lawson III, Melanie (Joel) Greene, Shawn (Laura) Lawson, Jamie (Kathryn) Henson, Jonathan (Robin) Peeler, Shanna (Shaun) Hammett, Tyson (Lindsey) Miller and Kasey (Chuck) Pittman, 13 great grandchildren, three brothers, Gene Greene, Vernon Greene, Stanley Greene, and a sister, Ann Allison. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Larry Miller, a son in law, JD Henson, brother, Benny Greene and sisters, Faye Pender and Betty Caston.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg.
The family is at 333 Wild Azalea Drive, Inman and will receive friends Sunday July 8th, 2-3:00pm at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in Seawright Funeral Chapel at 3:00 with Dr. Michael Hamlet officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Research 114 E. Earle St. Anderson, SC 29621-5602.
