 Mildred Inez Guffey, 92, of  Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at her home. 

Inez was born in Inman, South Carolina on May 18,1930, a daughter of the late Tiny (Ravan) and James Richard Owens and was the wife of the late Winfred Guffey.

She attended Anointed Community Church in Inman, South Carolina.

She is survived by four sons,  Dr. John Guffey and his wife Cathy, Steve Guffey and his wife Belinda, Carroll Guffey and his wife Ellen,and Robert Guffey and his wife Mary; a daughter, Sheila Henson; a sister, Lillian Keller; 18 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren; she was predeceased by a son, Larry Wright; 1 brother, Preston Owens; and 4 sisters, Edna Benfield, Annie Varner, Dorothy Cox, and Emma Gilliland.

Visitation will be held at 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, South Carolina.  

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Seawright Funeral Home  with Brother Brian Burchfield and Rev. Monte Guffey officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
