Ida Mae (Charles) James, 86, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Lake Emory Post Acute Care, formerly Camp Care Nursing Home in Inman,
SC. Mrs. James was born in Spartanburg County on July 27, 1927 and was the widow of the late Cecil James. She had retired from textiles and was of the baptist faith.
She is survived by three sons, Daniel Sellars of Arcadia, SC, Douglas Sellars of Spartanburg, Donald Sellars of Inman, SC and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marjorie Bearden.
A visitation & memorial service to celebrate her life will be held this Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 2 to 4 PM at the home of a son located at 659 Arcadia Station Road in Arcadia, SC 29320. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to: Ida Mae James Memorial Fund, P. O. Box 192, Inman, SC 29349. A guest register is available on this website and at the visitation & memorial service.
