Hugh Raymond Painter, 74, of Peachtree Rd., died Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Painter was born on May 12, 1936 and was the son of the late Albert and Carrie Painter. He was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include a daughter Cynthia Bullman and her husband Ricky of Inman, a sister, Lucille McSwain and her husband Bud also of Inman, two granddaughters, Leanne and Leah Bullman, a niece, Barbara Yelton and her husband Donald and a nephew Donald McSwain and his wife Linda and their families.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 13, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Sandy Springs Baptist Church in Rutherfordton, NC conducted by Rev. Phil Bailey. The family will receive friends Monday one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at 341 Jolley Rd., Inman, SC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 An online guest register is available at www.seawright-funeralhome.com
