Howard Dean Hannon, 66, formerly of Springfield Road, Boiling Springs, passed away Monday, July 13th, at Alpha Health & Rehab of Greer, after a period of declining health.
Howard was born in Spartanburg on March 4, 1949, a son of the late Grace Waldrop and Edward Dean Hannon. He retired from Spartanburg County Emergency Communications where he worked for many years as a 911 telecommunicator for emergency response units. He was a member of Motlow Creek Baptist Church in Campobello.
Howard is survived by a sister, brother in law, and niece; Juanita, Randy, and Meg Patton, all of Simpsonville. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Motlow Creek Baptist Church in Campobello conducted by Rev. Donald Waldrop.
