Howard Mingus Gray, Jr, 55, of Inman, passed away Tuesday, April 14th, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, after a sudden illness.
Howard was born in Spartanburg on December 24, 1959, a son of Joyce Clayton Farmer, of Inman and the late Howard Mingus Gray, Sr.
He worked as a computer technician and had served in the U.S. Navy.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father; David Farmer of Inman, his step-mother, Zenith Schrimsher, a daughter; Jennifer Gray and her husband Terrence Hendrix of Columbia, a sister; Laura Moon and her husband Robby of Inman, two grandchildren; Liam and Ethan Hendrix of Columbia, a niece; Molly Moon of Inman, and cousins; Sherry and Mike Gray of Inman.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, April 17th at Inman Cemetery on Price Street, Inman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills 130 Forest Glen Drive Columbus, NC 28722.
