Fowler
Robert "Howard" Fowler, 80, went home to be with the Lord Monday, August 19, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Inman, he was the son of the late Clement & Lillie Mae Fowler. He is survived by his wife, Jean Pike Fowler, recently celebrating 56 years of marriage. He was an active member of Inman First Free Will Baptist Church and a founding member of the Seasoned Saints ministry. He retired from Inman Mills after over 40 years of service and served with the Inman Mills Fire Dept and was a member of the Gateway Quartet, formerly known as the Friendly Quartet. Survivors include: two sons, Keith (Lynn) Fowler and Gary (Wanda) Fowler both of Inman; one daughter, Tina (Chris) Wilson of Inman; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dave (Wilma) Fowler, and Bill Fowler. He was predeceased by two sisters, and three brothers.
The family is at the home and will receive friends today, August 21, 2013 from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at Inman First Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the church conducted by Rev Sean Fortner and Rev Earl Hendrix. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
