Howard Winton Adams, Jr.

Howard Winton Adams, Jr., 65, of 4037 Tacco Ct., Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at his home.  

Born in Providence, Rhode Island on February 18, 1958, a son of the late Pauline Phillips and Howard Winton Adams, Sr. and was the husband of Barbara Ann (Harris) Adams.

Mr. Adams served in the United States Navy and worked in auto body painting and repair.  

In addition to his wife Barbara, he is also survived by one daughter, Angela Gardner (Eric); one son, John Daniel Pruitt (A.J.); six grandchildren, Rhonda Gardner, Ericka Gardner, Christopher Gardner, Brittany Armstrong, Shannon Cartee and Danielle Pruitt; ten great grandchildren, Tyson, Keysha, Kane, Olivia, Claire, Brooklyn, Savannah, Elijah, Brayden and Lawson;  two brothers, Halbert Adams and Matthew Smith; two sisters, Hazel Mallett and Elaine Smith; two nephews, Corey Smith, Richard Smith and two nieces, Samantha Oswald and Elaina Oswald.  

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Inman Cemetery in Inman, South Carolina with Military Honors provided by Boiling Springs Post # 200.
