Mrs. Hilda Trout Tinsley, 88, of 197 Mountainview Rd., Boiling Springs died April 10, 2008 at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg.
Mrs. Tinsley was born in Spartanburg on December 26, 1919, the daughter of the late Clara Victoria McKinney Trout and she was the widow of Alva Astor "Budge" Tinsley.
She retired from the US Postal Service and was a member of Mountainview Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Alva Delano Tinsley and his wife Dottie, Patrick A. Tinsley and his wife Jackie, Roger L. Tinsley and his wife Lynne, two daughters, Marcia T. Pye and her husband Harold, Sonya M. Henderson and her husband Bruce, all of Spartanburg, 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held today, Friday, April 11, 2008 at Mountainview Baptist Church cemetery at 6:30pm conducted by Dr. Tony Cribb and Rev. Tyler Kirby.
The family is at their respective homes and will gather for a time of fellowship today 5:00-6:30pm in the fellowship hall at Mountainview Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive Spartanburg, SC 29303.
