Hettie S Wolfe

Hettie Wolfe, 94, of Compton Bridge Road Inman, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Summit Hills Nursing Facility in Spartanburg. 

Mrs. Wolfe was born in Spartanburg on March 11, 1929, a daughter of the late Sunie Barnette Suddeth and Blanch Suddeth and was the wife of George Albert Wolfe.

She had worked at Fran's Fashions in Inman and was a member of Inman First Baptist Church where she had taught a children's Sunday School Class for a number of years. She enjoyed bowling with her friends that she continued being close to; enjoyed being a wife and mother; and enjoyed helping others as she delivered Mobile Meals. 

In addition to her husband, Albert, she is also survived by a daughter; Linda Bennett and her husband Albert of Marietta, SC, two sons; Terry Wolfe and his wife, Cyndi, of Inman, Douglas Wolfe and his wife, Mary, of Brandon, MS, a brother; Nolan Suddeth and his wife, Barbara, of Spartanburg, eight grandchildren; Adam Bennett, Sara Duncan, Ashley Wolfe, Emily Nix, Paige Nichols, Joseph Wolfe, Jon Wolfe, James Wolfe, and seven great grandchildren.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Wednesday, January 31st in the Atrium of Inman First Baptist Church from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 31st at Inman First Baptist Church with Dr. Paul Moore officiating.

Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mobile Meals, PO Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
