Henry Burton Senn, Sr.
Henry Burton Senn, Sr., 84, of 630 Senn Road, Inman, SC, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at his home. Henry was born in Spartanburg County, SC on February 1, 1931, a son of the late Joseph Earl and Banna (Neel) Senn. He was the husband of June (Keasler) Senn, was a graduate of Clemson University, owner and operator of Senn Pest Control and was a member of Inman Presbyterian Church where he served as Elder. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #45 where he formerly served as commander, a member of the New Prospect Masonic Lodge #143 where he served as past Master and was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Henry is survived by a daughter, Pamela Stoop (David), of Inman, a son, Burt Senn, Jr (Michele D.), of Inman; three grandchildren, Christopher Senn, Trey Senn, Matthew Farmer, two step grandchildren, Matthew Stoop and Charlie Stoop. He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. The familiy is at the home and will receive friends Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 1:00 — 2:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow in the Seawright Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 28th, with Rev Dottie Metropol officiating. American Legion Post #45 will serve as honorary escort. Following the tradition of many generations of his ancestors Henry will be buried in Smyrna Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Newberry, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
