Inman, SC---Mr. Henry Amos Culbreth, 96, of 59 Blackstock Road Inman went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 8th, 2010 at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg.
Born in Campobello, SC on March 30, 1914, he was the son of the late Fieldin Henry and Eva (Burns) Culbreth and the husband of the late Alice (Casey) Culbreth.
Mr. Culbreth was a member of Inman First Baptist Church and was a peach farmer.
He is survived by two daughters, Vicki Sain of Due West, SC and Joy C. Myers of Greenville, SC; one son, Ronald Neil Culbreth of Inman, SC; two brothers, Will Earl Culbreth of Campobello, SC and Fieldin Henry Culbreth, Jr of Inman, SC; one sister, Georgia C. Martin of Inman, SC and three grandchildren, Scott Dotherow, Mitzi Dotherow Troxell and Casey Culbreth and three great-grandchildren and a much loved caregiver, Kim Patterson. He was predeceased by one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 11, 2010 from 1 :30-3:00PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow in the Seawright Funeral Chapel at 3:00PM with Rev Tom Brittain, Rev Jan Brittain, Rev Cecil Donahue and Dr Paul Moore officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman.
