New Mexico---Mrs. Helen Caldwell Knox Morgan, 92, resident of the Good Samaritan Society-Four Corners Village in Aztec, NM, but formerly of 13 Lawrence St., Lyman, SC and also of North Pine St., in Seneca, SC passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, New Mexico.
Born in Inman, S.C. on February 18, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Mr. David Jerome and Mrs. Annie (Caldwell) Knox. She was the wife of the late Mr. Leon Wyatt Morgan.
Mrs. Morgan was a homemaker and was a member of Lyman First Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Leon Terrell Morgan and his wife, Susan of Farmington, New Mexico; three sisters, Sarah Boyd of Woodruff, SC, Mary Loftis of Columbia, SC and Nancy Johnson of Inman, SC. She was predeceased by three brothers, Warren Knox, William Knox and John Knox along with one sister, June Dillon.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the Seawright Funeral Chapel at 3:00 PM with Rev. Jeff Hickman officiating. Burial will be in the New Prospect Baptist Church.
