Hazel Stewart Brown, 93, of 7 Birch Street, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021, at the Regional Hospice Home, Spartanburg, South Carolina. Hazel was born in Landrum, South Carolina, on March 31, 1927, a daughter of the late Truman Carl Stewart and Maggie Garner Stewart. She was the widow of Clarence William Brown.
Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and a member of Inman First Baptist Church.
Hazel is survived by a daughter, Gail Washburn, of Inman, South Carolina; one sister, Betty Jones of Tryon, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Curtis Greene and his wife, Rosenit; Perry Greene and his wife Christie; Trisha Allen and her husband, David; and Ryan Greene. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents and spouse, Mrs. Brown was predeceased by a son, David Brown, a sister, Ruth Wolfe and three brothers, T.C Stewart, Boyd Stewart and Raymond Stewart.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the Landrum City Cemetery, conducted by, Rev. David Allen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman First Baptist Church 14 N Howard St. Inman, SC 29349.
