 Hazel Bishop, 90, of 223 Rainbow Circle in Inman, South Carolina, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. 
Hazel was born in Spartanburg, on August 25, 1932, a daughter of the late Gennell West Varner and Grady Varner. She was the widow of Carl Manning Bishop.
She had worked at Holmberg Electronics, Thomas & Betts, and Toledo Scales. She attended Solid Rock Church in Spartanburg.
Hazel is survived by three sons, Steven Bishop and his wife, Sandra, of Severna Park, Maryland; Mark Bishop and his wife, Pam, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Joey Bishop and his wife, Anne, of Central, South Carolina; two sisters, Betty Winterrowd and her husband Jerry of Inman; Linda Horton and her husband, Jervy of Inman; a brother, Ray Varner and his wife Linda of Campobello; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Matthew, Molly, Lucy, Alice, Amy, David and Lauren and three great-grandchildren, Rory, Freya, and Cora. In addition to her parents and husband, Hazel was also predeceased by a daughter, Gayle and a brother, Bobby Varner. No services are planned at this time.
