Harvey Neal Parnell, 76, of 6030 New Cut Rd., Inman passed away Wednesday, March 6th, at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg.
Born in Newport, Arkansas on February 8, 1937, he was the son of the late Grace (Mead) and Hurbert Ray Parnell and was the husband of Rosalyn (Stephens) Parnell. He was a member of Little Mountain Baptist Church and was the owner/operator of Parnell Forming Company.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Terry Parnell of Hawaii and Kirk Parnell of California; one daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Recker of Anacortes, Washington, one step-daughter, Terri Coleman of Hendersonville, NC and one step-son, Donald Coleman of Chesnee, SC, two sisters, Wilma and Rhonda, one brother, Dan, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The family is at his home and will receive friends Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Seawright Funeral Home from 3:00 — 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers and food the family request that memorials be made to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
