Harold Dick Wilson

Boiling Springs, SC--- Harold Keith "Dick" Wilson, 71, of 8795 Asheville Hwy. Boiling Springs, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 28, 2015 following a brief battle with cancer. Born in Spartanburg County on May 17, 1944, he was the son of the late John Andrew and Lyda (Patterson) Wilson and was the husband of Mary (Praytor) Wilson having celebrated 48 years of marriage.

Mr. Wilson graduated from the University of Georgia in 1967 with a degree in Business Administration. After graduation he went in to the Army National Guard and worked as an industrial engineer many years and was the Owner/President TLC Lawn Service, Inc. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a faithful church member.

In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by one son, Andrew Keith Wilson of the home; one daughter, Aletta Thompson and her husband Wayne of Inman, SC; one grandson, Shawn Thompson and his wife Ashley and one granddaughter, Gabrielle Thompson; one sister, Donna Drake of Boiling Springs, SC; three nephews, Timothy Drake, John Harris Drake and his wife Gabrielle, and Brian Johnson; one great nephew, Nathaniel Drake; and one great niece, Isabella Drake.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 3:00 - 4:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. A Celebration of his Life Service will be held in the Seawright Funeral Chapel, at 4:00 PM following the visitation with Rev. Brian Winebrenner and Chaplain Maria Miller officiating.
