Gwendalyn Puckett Wilcox
Mrs. Gwendalyn Puckett Wilcox, 74, of 7601 Brookside St. Spartanburg went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 31 st, 2007.
Mrs. Wilcox was the daughter of the late Walter and Pauline (Wright) Puckett and was the wife of Robert Wilcox.
She was the owner/operator of the Spartan Florist and was a member of Green Street Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband Robert, she is survived by two daughters Linda Tesenair and her husband Daniel of Spartanburg and Melissa Birdno and her husband Mike of Inman; one stepdaughter Gwen Kirby and her husband Dean of Spartanburg and one stepson Michael Todd Wilcox and his wife Carmen of Spartan burg; one sister Addie Puckett McKinney. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Home at 3 PM on Friday, August 3rd, with Rev. Frank Bryant officiating. Mausoleum Entombment will be at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Friday 2-3 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Michael Wilcox, Josh Wilcox, Tommy Puckett, Dean Kirby, Les Foster and David Grace.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Interim Hospice 775 Spartan Blvd. Suite 101 Spartan burg, SC 29301.
