Guinn Wayne Elmore

Guinn "Wayne" Elmore, 80, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Gaffney, South Carolina on December 15, 1943, he was the son of the late Calvin George Smalley and Ola Bell Peeler Smalley. 

Wayne was member of Covenant United Methodist Church and was employed with Overnite Transportation as an over the road truck driver for 36 years. 

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carrol Stark Elmore, one son, Geoffery Elmore and his wife Melonie; one daughter, Gina White and her husband David; four grandchildren, Cory Elmore and his wife Breanna, Valerie Elmore, Natalie Ray and her husband Corey and Benjamin White and three great grandchildren, Mia Kate Elmore, Charlotte Elmore and Brody Elmore.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, South Carolina with Rev. Arthur Holt officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. 

Burial will be in Shiloh Memorial Cemetery in Inman, South Carolina.
